would have a Brian Adias or Gino Hernandez but you would then have those CRAZY WORLD CLASS CHARACTERS!!!
"The
Ugandan Giant" KAMALA:(James Harris). As I grow older this man becomes more of a awesome mystery to me. He was a great "actor"
who made you believe he was a Savage beast from Africa,but he was really a country boy from Missippissi. His gimmick orginated
from his idea with help from Jerry Lawler. Lawler painted his face and filmed a video in his backyard of this Ugandan warrior
called Kamala and made it believe he was in Africa. They showed the video on Memphis television and said Kamala will debut
against Jerry Lawler. They sold out the show that weekend. He went out to several stints in the WWF with legendary feuds with
Hulk Hogan,Andre the Giant,Jake "The Snake" Roberts,The Undertaker. He was managed by Mr. Fuji,The Wizard,Slick in the WWF.
And was managed by General Skandor Akbar in his run in World Class as part of "Devastion Inc.". His World Class feuds with
The Von Erichs are some of his best work. Harris' Kamala gimmick overshadowed any ability he lacked and made him into a incredible
legendary character that the world will never forget.
"THE MISSING LINK". (Dewey Robertson). Was managed by Percey
Pringle the 3rd aka Paul Bearer in his WCCW stint. Was managed by Bobby Heenan in the WWF. Another incredible character that
caught the attention of the crowd. I don't know the orgin of his gimmick,but will find out! Link was a master of the head-but
and uncanny ability. A wrestler liked no other!
"THE GREAT KABUKI". (Managed by the "devious one" Gary Hart,he fueded
with The Von Erichs and many other World Class stars. Soon Kabuki left Hart and became a "Face" with Sunshine as he faced
"heels" like Kamala and The Missing Link. Kabuki returned to Japan where his legend grew more. Keiji Muto adopted the gimmick
"The Great Muta" and being hailed as "The Son of The Great Kabuki".)
